Knollwood is the only military retirement community in our nation's capital. A full-service continuing care community, Knollwood sits on 17 beautiful, green acres along Rock Creek Park. We offer independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and a new Center for Memory Care will open in summer 2008!

Special care programs offered for Alzheimer's and Dementia residents:
Center for Memory Care opening in summer 2008, specifically for those with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. A 25-bed skilled nursing facility (21 private rooms, 2 semi-private) with specially trained staff and state-of-the-art surroundings.
