    Highlights
Located in the heart of Hattiesburg's medical community, you will find Bedford Care Center of Hattiesburg. Our resident centered facility is designed to provide excellent care and customer service to both residents and their families. We offer 24 hour licensed nursing care and our high staff-to-resident ratio insures that your loved ones needs are met by qualified and compassionate staff. Our specialized 30 bed rehabilitation unit offers private rooms and state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment; including electrical stimualtion, ultrasound, and the use of Accelerated Care Plus (ACP) clinical programming. The goal of our team is to return residents to their highest level of independence and hopefully back to their own homes. Several private rooms are also available throughout the building. Our dining room has been recently renovated and we offer resident centered meals. Residents enter a beautiful sun-filled dining room where our attendants serve residents from tableside and are then available throughout the entire meal. This personalized service allows residents to both view and choose their menu selections. While this service enhances nutritional intake it also provides more independence and socialization at meal time. Our outside courtyard areas offer an opportunity to get fresh air and sunshine or visit with others. Inside, our activities offer stimulation for a variety of interests and on many levels of functioning. We are conveniently located one block from Forrest General Hospital. Should emergenicies arise, premiere medical care is just across the street. This close proximity allows us to be involved while our residents are hospitalized and respond personally and quickly to referrals. We are located near the intersection of Highways 49 and 59, just west of Forrest General Hospital off South 28th Avenue.
