Colonial Gardens, a secure home-like residence is designed for people with Alzheimer's and other related dementias. We provide an individualized program (7 days a week/24 hours a day) that encourages independence, physical, social and cognitive stimulation. Because of our professionally trained staff, including licensed nursing and a superior staff to resident ratio, we are able to provide "uncommon" Alzheimer's care to each of our residents.

Staff certifications and training:
Colonial Gardens is a Certified Alzheimer's and other Dementia Facility. Initial staff training is at least 8 hours didactic and 16 hours OJT with an annual training of at least 12 hours. Ongoing staff training occurs 2 times a month.
Memory Care
The entire facility is dedicated to the care of Alzheimer's and Dementia sufferers.

Colonial Gardens only takes care of people with some form of dementia such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
